The UIS rebar production plant is strategically located in the Abu Dhabi Industrial Zone - production facilities include a state-of-the-art, Italian Vai Pomini fully automated rolling mills with the capacity to produce 350,000 tonnes of bar per year.

Rebar is used to reinforce concrete and other masonry structures. UIS manufactures 8mm-32mm rebars that are in compliance with the international specifications and have all the requisite approvals [e.g. from certification bodies such as CARES of the UK].

The UIS reinforcing bars are high yield strength bars which are sold in lengths of 12 meters and packaged in two-tonne bundles. Production meets the BS 4449:2005 standard.
