Other information: Founded in 1956 as as Zeljezara Niksic in 1956, Toscelik Niksic has a history of steelmaking that spans well over 60 years. The former Zeljezara Niksic became a member of the Toscelik Steel Group in May 2012 after the State of Montenegro called a tender for the sale of Zeljezara Niksic A.D., setting the starting price at EUR 30 mln. Toscelik proved to be the winning bidder in this tender, acquiring full equity ownership of Zeljezara Niksic A.D. for just Euro 15.1 mln. Since then, Tosyali Holding has been conducting investments under the new company name of Toscelik Niksic in order to improve and modernize production technologies and achieve high product quality.

Tosçelik Niksic is one of the major steelmakers in Europe and one of the leading industries in Montenegro. The firm's excellent geographical positioning enables easy and smooth product deliveries to the clients anywhere in the world in the optimal time periods via a broad range of different transportation methods.

Some of Toscelik's most substantial investments at Niksic include SVC (System for Compensation of Reactive Energy) installation, the new vacuum station in the melt shop, burners on the EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) and Ladle Furnace Revamping; and a new RHF (Rotary Hearth Furnace) for reheating ingots and blooms in the forging mill. The comapny has also invested in new lathes for turning bars [peeling].
